Rubicon’s RPLANS / WebRPLANS training covers how the user develops, refines and maintains the installation Tabulation of Existing and Required Facilities (TAB) and how to use RPLANS / WebRPLANS in the installation master planning process.
Training can be tailored to the specific needs of the user, and can include:
Force Structure - RPLANS / WebRPLANS gathers force structure data from the Army Stationing and Installation Plan (ASIP). Rubicon’s RPLANS / WebRPLANS Training will help users understand how RPLANS / WebRPLANS uses these data, how the data impact facility requirements, and how to look for potential discrepancies in the force structure data.
Assets - RPLANS / WebRPLANS draws assets data from the installation Integrated Facilities System (IFS) and the Planning Resource for Infrastructure Development and Evaluation (PRIDE) system. Rubicon’s RPLANS / WebRPLANS Training will help users understand how the data are reflected in the installation Tabulation of Existing and Required Facilities (TAB), and how to ensure the data produce an accurate installation TAB.
Allowances, Requirements and Criteria - RPLANS / WebRPLANS extracts allowances, requirements and criteria from a number of sources, including the Facility Planning System (FPS), the Army Criteria Tracking System (ACTS), DOD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and other Army regulations, technical manuals and publications. Rubicon’s RPLANS / WebRPLANS Training will help users understand how criteria are applied to the force to generate allowances, and how the user can use the official Army standards and criteria to calculate requirements at the unit and organization level, or at the installation level, in order to optimize the TAB.
Rubicon Planning can also provide training in how to use the Facility Planning System (FPS) and other requirements analysis techniques, and how to calculate facility requirements in order to refine the installation TAB.
