The AR 405-10 sets forth the authority, policy, responsibility, and procedures for the acquisition of real property and interests therein, for military purposes by the Department of the Army. It implements Department of Defense Directives 4165.6, 4165.12, and 4165.16. This regulation does not apply to Civil Works Projects, which are under the supervision of the Chief of Engineers.
